Adapting to the expectations of middle school means learning to think about writing as a series of intentional choices made by an author. Taking control of that process separates good writers from great ones. It is critical for adolescents to workshop their writing in a ungraded environment to develop a true appreciation of the craft.

In Writing Workshop, students learn to analyze and discuss new forms of literature while continuing to develop effective writing processes for themselves. This course introduces skills. concepts and content commonly found in the Middle Years Programme of the IB.
