Coding Club
Thinking like an engineer can help children build a strong, foundation for better learning. Using design thinking helps kids develop the attitudes and thinking processes necessary to be confident, adaptable learners inside and outside of the classroom. In Coding club, we will build coding language skills and use kits and base components to create working robots

Coding Club 

Recommended for ages 7+

Together, we will complete physical and digital coding projects, as well as learning the basics of electricity, computers and more! Children will begin their first steps into the exciting world of coding through guided, block-based coding languages. 

Each child works with their own mBot, which they can customize and code as a longterm project.

Advanced Coding

Recommended for ages 11+

Once kids have a taste for text-based coding, the world gets larger. Advanced Coding is designed for learners who are moving fully into designer mode. Projects are student-driven and personalized to each learners interests and needs. The platforms we use include Unity, Adobe Dreamweaver and instruction is completed using Codeacademy.
