What is a Flash Fiction Workshop?
|
Flash fiction is a genre that includes stories as short as 6 words up to about a 1,000 words. In this 1-day workshop, published author and Columbia University MFA graduate E.B. Bartels and Ms. Lee will lead aspiring authors through the process of starting and editing their own work of flash fiction. From 11:00 am-1:00 pm, we will discuss and practice strategies for writing effectively.
From 1:00-2:00 pm, please join Ms. E.B. and Ms. Lee for snacks and a Q&A where the participants can ask her about her life as a writer, her experiences in higher education, her menagerie of pets or anything else that comes up over the course of the day. This workshop and the Q&A will be in English. |
